WOL+MED is Giving Back in 2010

WOL+MED Medical is “Giving Back in 2010″.  This is the theme we’re rallying around.  We worked with the North Texas Food bank during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and provided 4,000 meals!  In doing this, we realized that there’s a lot of charitable giving that we can do with such a large office staff.  WOL+MED employs nearly 50 people in the Denton area and with such a large staff, we can do a lot of good.  Next week, we’re doing a clothing drive with the Salvation Army.  They will come to our office in Denton and pick up the clothing, which is very convenient and will help more of our folks give back.  Next month (April 16th), WOL+MED will be hosting a blood drive with the America Red Cross and we’re setting a goal of 100 donors.  We’ll have BBQ, cold drinks, and a drawing for those who donate.  After this, we’ll be participating in another food drive with the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) that starts May 5th.

The employees at WOL+MED are very excited about the many opportunities we have available to give back.  The events listed above are just the beginning to a very big year in 2010.  We plan to be the most giving organization in the area this year.

This is really great that you have felt the desire to help out and donate your time to charities. You do not see lot of organizations giving their time, money, and resources to help their communities. I really think this Blog you have is awesome. I want to recommend a few patients to you in the near future. I have read and heard great things about Wol+Med. Thanks for the update and thanks for giving back!

I apologize for not replying in March when you sent this message to me. To be honest with you, I’m really just figuring out all of the features of blogging. I really appreciate your nice feedback and clearly I would love it if you felt like referring patients to WOL+MED. We are so happy to help people who have been injured at work and in car wrecks, but we’re also a family practice treating lots of people who are sick or just not feeling well. Thanks again for the nice feedback and have a great weekend!
