WOLMED: A Pain Management Success Story

Thursday, May 2nd, 2013

Thank you FaceOur Patient Suzanne OBrien detailed how our Pain Management program was able to help her:

When I first came to WOLMED, I was in a lot of pain. Consequently, I wasn’t one of the nicer patients and couldn’t do much for myself. After the first 80 hours, I was able to walk more. Also, I managed to put my socks and shoes on myself – with some difficulty, but this was a great accomplishment for me. The equipment and staff at WOLMED is unbelievable and has definitely made me stronger. I was only able to make microwave food before coming here. Now I’ve learned to make fresh meat and veg with rests in between. It takes longer, but it’s worth it. The second eighty  hours just increased my strength, and the group therapy taught me so much - positive attitude – think more before acting and so much more. One complaint – those 80 hours went far too fast!
