  • Did you injure yourself on purpose?
    • If yes, then you don’t qualify
  • Were you injured by an act of God?
    • If yes, then you don’t qualify
  • Were you injured by another person for personal reasons?
    • If yes, then you don’t qualify

The answers you give to the questions above determine your eligibility for workers compensation.  Once you’ve determined that you are eligible for workers compensation, find out if you are in a Workers’ Compensation Health Care Network because you must choose your doctor from the network’s treating doctor list.  This step should not be overlooked because if you don’t follow these rules, you may be held responsible for payment of medical bills.
